Our team participated in robotics demonstrations at three community events. We demonstrated our robot for students and families at Family Engineering night at Poplar Bridge Elementary. We also demonstrated our robot (and taught students how to drive it) at New Code Academy STEM Night. Bloomington Robotics (and Team BJORG) set up candy-dispensing robots at a Trick or Treat Trail event open to the public. Our team volunteered at this event. We demonstrated our robot for students and families at Family Engineering night at Valley View Middle CS Showcase. We also demonstrated our robot (and taught students how to drive it) unfortunately early on in the event one of our motors burned out and we had to be a demo bot instead In addition to these events, our team helps robotics reach new audiences through a team website and by discussing robotics at our school.
